Fever Screening Camera
The Latest Fever Screening Camera Technology from Automated Innovation
As businesses begin to reopen and people start to return to work, it’s important to consider the ways to keep your business COVID-19 safe and in line with the latest Government guidelines. Many businesses across the country are already employing the use of handheld, manual temperature guns which although inexpensive to purchase, are often time-consuming and inaccurate. They are also impractical when dealing with a high volume of individuals moving in and out of workplaces each day.
In our new showroom located in Steel River Estate, Mayfield West, we have recently installed one of the brand new state of the art Fever Screening Cameras from Hikvision. With advanced detectors and algorithms, Hikvision’s Fever Screening Thermographic Cameras are designed to detect elevated skin-surface temperatures, and can thus be used as a rapid and preliminary temperature screening system in doctors surgeries, medical centres, nursing homes, childcare centres, office buildings and factories as well as many other high-traffic businesses and institutions.
With an incredible temperature accuracy of up to 0.3°C the Hikvision temperature screening camera is much more effective and efficient than the widely used temperature guns, which often need multiple readings to gain an accurate temperature.
How Does the Hikvision Fever Screening Camera work?
The camera takes just one second to detect skin surface temperature in an individual and can detect multiple individuals’ temperatures simultaneously – eradicating the need for employees, customers, clients or patients to stand in long queues outside your business prior to having their temperature checked.
Using it’s non-contact measurement, the Hikvision Fever Screening Camera ensures that no close-proximity is required from any staff members, instantly decreasing the risk of infection within your business or practice as well as saving time.
With one simple installation of this impressive thermal screening system, your receptionist or other staff member is instantly freed up to focus on other important tasks, thereby increasing productivity whilst maintaining your employees safety and wellbeing. As the temperature screening system is incredibly fast and completely automated, the technology very quickly pays for itself as you will no longer require the man hours necessary for manual temperature gun readings.
Upon reading a high temperature the system instantly notifies operators – for example a notification can discreetly pop up on your reception computer screen – ensuring that new COVID-19 safe protocols can be adhered to with efficiency and ease.
The smart fever detection system also uses AI technology to reduce the likelihood of false alarms from other heat sources such as a person carrying a coffee cup.
